We've welcomed Veni Infantino back on to our bridal rail with La Dolce Veni II, the Autumn 2026 collection. It's a collection of real detail: 3D florals, printed Mikado silk, and Veni's 2026 designs make a feature of bows, from a statement bow on the back of a clean, simple gown to oversized bows at the shoulder and bows cascading down a train.
This label has a story worth knowing. It began in the 1950s in a small London store, and Veni was born in Italy, raised in the UK and trained at the London College of Fashion and you can see the couture influence in the lower waistlines, beaded bodices, lace and heavy Mikado silk. When I spoke to Veni last month she was very excited to have just launched her new Beverly Hills store.
If you like a gown that catches the light, there's heavy beading and sparkle. If you want something that looks like nobody else's wedding, there's a bolder, avant-garde edge, including a black gown. Several designs are layered with detachable jackets, cover-ups and overskirts so the look can move from the ceremony into the evening, which means one dress can do two jobs. One gown in the collection even has a built-in "something blue".
